M7 Metrics Sheet Generator: Streamline Backtesting with TradingView

M7 Metrics Sheet Generator is a free Chrome extension developed by 4kbomb. It aims to simplify the process of backtesting with TradingView and M7 Metrics by converting TradingView positions into a M7 Metrics-friendly format. With this extension, users can easily add their positions to a Google Sheet, saving time and effort.

To use M7 Metrics Sheet Generator, simply select the positions you want to add to your Google Sheet in TradingView, then click on the extension icon in Chrome. A popup will appear where you can paste the positions. If positions are found, they will be displayed in the popup. Click on 'Copy Positions' and paste the copied positions into the leftmost cell of the next empty row in your Google Sheet.

The extension automatically fills in several columns, including Date, Confirmation Time, Entry Time, Instrument, Confirmation Type, Stopped Out, Entry, Stop, Take Profit, and Exit. For accurate results, it is recommended to draw your positions on TradingView precisely, overlaying the candlesticks correctly and avoiding drawing before the true entry or after the true exit.
